In August 2026 Mel sat on the national Mission Intelligence: The State of Play panel at the NZQBA Bookkeeping Conference in Auckland, alongside Inland Revenue. The conference described the panel as covering “what’s happening across NZ businesses right now ... from cashflow pressure and funding challenges to the ripple effects of late payments.”
She writes about what came out of it in our businesses were never intended to be banks.
