The Paid Right Accelerator is a six-week programme designed to enable intensive learning around how to fundamentally transform how money actually moves into and through your business giving you access to your funds faster & reducing your risk - while keeping your clients & teams happy & engaged.
Most business owners struggle because they’re operating inside a commercial structure they didn’t design.
A structure where you’re expected to deliver first and get paid later.
Where risk sits on your shoulders.
Where cashflow pressure becomes normalised.
And where businesses end up funding work while everyone else benefits from the outcome
That’s the current reality of the structure most business owners are working in.
The Paid Right Accelerator exists to help you see that structure clearly and then redesign it.
Over six weeks, we work together — in a faciliated group cohort — to unpack where risk enters, and what practical changes will create the most significant material impact for your cashflow outcomes now!
Who is the Paid Right Accelerator For?
Paid Right is designed for established business owners and leaders who:
are delivering real work in the real world — but carrying too much financial risk
want faster, more reliable cashflow without chasing or damaging client relationships
are ready to look at how their payment systems, processes, and decisions are shaping outcomes
value practical capability, shared experience, and facilitated learning.
want to build stronger commercial foundations so their business can grow with confidence
Participants need to be willing to engage, reflect, and take grounded action over six weeks.
How the Paid Right Accelorator Is Delivered
Paid Right is delivered as a facilitated, cohort-based learning experience — not a one-way presentation and not a self-paced course.
Each week participants are guided through practical frameworks and real-world business scenarios, with space to reflect on their own payment processes, risk points, and client experiences. Core concepts are taught using relatable examples and structured tools, then reinforced through group discussion, shared learning, and in-session application.
This creates a learning environment where business owners gain both practical knowledge and peer insight — while actively working on their own business in real time.
Across six weeks participants gain clarity to understand structural transformation, and learn to take confident action. By the end of the program, each business has identified their key gaps, understood what needs to change, and developed a clear, prioritised pathway forward — with practical tools, strengthened systems, and grounded confidence to implement.
This is not just about consuming content.
It’s about building capability, making informed decisions, and embedding change.
"Mel’s Masterclass was a fantastic experience. Being in the finance sector, I was initially drawn to the session out of interest—particularly around Terms of Trade rather than cash flow. I went in open to learning, and I absolutely did. One key takeaway was realizing our Terms of Trade needed reviewing. I made changes straight away, removing a clause that no one ever completed because it simply wasn’t necessary. What really stood out was the group setting. It was relaxed, open, and full of energy. Hearing how others manage their cash flow and business challenges was incredibly valuable. Mel created a space where everyone felt comfortable sharing, and her knowledge and approach made the whole experience enjoyable and insightful. If you're considering attending one of Mel’s Masterclasses, I’d say definitely go for it—especially if the topic is relevant to your business. You’ll walk away with practical insights and feel empowered to make positive changes."

"I joined Mel’s Masterclass mainly for the networking opportunities and to gather ideas from others in business. One key takeaway for me was the importance of understanding a new client’s budget upfront so we can tailor our services to suit their needs — that really stuck with me. The session also helped me shift how I look at projects, outcomes, and budgets. It gave me a broader outlook and a more strategic approach to planning. The group energy was great — everyone contributed, shared ideas, and it felt like a really supportive environment. It was a good group to be part of. If you’re thinking about attending one of Mel’s Masterclasses, I’d definitely recommend it. She’s a great presenter, keeps the session engaging, and delivers valuable insights."

"I’ve always been a huge advocate for what Soda organises, so attending Mel’s Masterclass was a no-brainer. I was hoping to deepen my financial knowledge, and one insight that really stuck with me was Mel’s comment about small businesses essentially acting as a credit facility — it was eye-opening. The session helped me rethink how I approach invoicing and client relationships. I’ve started separating myself from the accounts side to maintain professionalism and reduce empathy in that space. Clients don’t need to know I handle both sides — now I invoice as if it’s coming from a third party. Even though we have 7-day terms, payments often get dragged out, so this shift has been helpful. The group dynamic was energetic and engaging, though I did feel some people held back a bit, which made it hard to follow their input without knowing their business context. That said, the group size was just right — I wouldn’t want it any bigger. If you’re new to business and considering one of Mel’s Masterclasses, I’d say absolutely go for it. You’ll gain valuable insights and practical strategies to strengthen your financial foundations."

What Emily from JD Motorcycles had to say about working with Mel
"We’ve been in business for about five years, and in the beginning, our biggest challenges were a lack of knowledge, no real processes, and cash flow struggles. Since bringing Mel on board a year ago, everything has changed for the better. She provided the focus and direction we needed, almost acting as a business mentor, offering practical solutions that we could cope with and was always within our capabilities, there was no pressure and she could always see what we needed to do to improve things.
The biggest transformation has been in our cash flow and getting our Terms of Trade sorted—both of which have made a huge difference. Mel is incredibly personable and kind, and she truly understands how to guide a business without overwhelming us. Working with her has been invaluable, and we can’t recommend her highly enough!"
